Dr. Shirish Devasthali is a Board Certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist trained at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
In addition to his work with patients with cancer and blood diseases, he provides care to indigent patients at the Care Clinic. Dr. Devasthali has been hosting the WFSS radio program “Community Health” since 1997. He volunteers his time as a member of the Cumberland County Education Foundation and Fayetteville Museum of Art.
Dr. Devasthali also was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Fayetteville State University by Governor Mike Easley in August 2005.
Dr. Devasthali is originally from India, and has served the Fayetteville community since 1990. He, his wife, and two daughters have made Fayetteville their home.



Dr. Tariq Nazir was trained in medical oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He did his internal medicine training at Chicago. He had been in practice in Kentucky, at a cancer clinic, for the last six years prior to joining The Blood and Cancer Clinic in 2004. Dr. Nazir is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. He treats a variety of cancers, and cancer related symptoms. He also does consultation for various blood disorders.
